Vanax 75 is a unique steel. Stainless powder steel with carbon replaced by nitrogen. Extremely low friction and extreme corrosion resistance.
Extreme corrosion resistance because corrosion inducing carbon has been elimated from this steel.
Material is best suited for corrosive environmets or where the material to cut is sticky – for example stickers.

Heat treatment:
Quench from 1080°C. Temper 2 x 2 hours at 200°C. This yields hardness HRC 60-61.
Much easier to machine than coventional stainless steels.
